We love a family friendly vacation home, where everyone has space to relax and you get to experience a different destination through another family’s eyes and live like a local. However we know there’s also a time and place for a hotel stay, if you can find a kid-friendly hotel to suit the whole gang.
The good news is that smaller families can usually fit in a flexible room or a suite, and there are some hotels out there that really do family vacations well. Plus, sometimes the lure of a freshly-made breakfast (cooked by someone else) is enough to swing the vote.
