  • Chez Bibi – croissants, fresh bread, sandwiches and coffee prepared daily 
  • Can Caus – a local butcher with pollo payes and cordero 
  • Polen – great for organic foods and essentials
  • Somm Wines – wine shop
  • Picadeli – local deli with readymade, delicious organic foods and wines
  • Il Buco – a restaurant and shop 
  • Musset – a local cafe with vegan options and cocktails
  • Yalla – Middle-Eastern fusion restaurant

Breakfast

  • Can Muson Farm – a local farm shop with delicious breakfasts 
  • Terra Masia – a gorgeous organic farm where you can buy fresh veg boxes or eggs and have a light breakfast 
  • Giri Cafe – a pretty café for lunch or breakfast in San Joan 
  • Cappuccino Marina – a pretty waterside spot in Talamanca
  • Can Guilmo – a local northern healthy/hippy café that’s great for breakfast 
  • Passion – fresh juices and sea views in Santa Eularia 

Lunch

  • Fish Shack – a casual must-do: get the lamb chops and jump off the little rock in front of the restaurant 
  • Xuclar – hidden beach chiringuito and an amazing swim 
  • La Paloma and Aubergine for lovely farm-to-table lunch vibes (La Paloma is also lovely for dinner)
  • Cala Gracioneta – a pretty restaurant and swim, but the little cove gets very crowded
  • Pura Vida – shady and usually easier to get a table than others
  • Cala Carbo – delicious paella, maybe the best on the island, but it’s a hike past San Jose
  • Benirras – our closest beach with lots of food options
  • Nudo – a new restaurant in the north recommended by locals
  • Cala Bonita – a chic beach lunch with a walk over all the rocks to the end, which is easy enough for kids and ends at the flattest, clearest turquoise bath water
  • Es Torrent and Xarcu for classic, perfect fish – highly recommended
  • Sa Caleta – for great, classic paella 
  • Tropicana – good for lunch and has sunbeds to relax afterwards 
  • Beachhouse – good if you’re looking for that beach club experience on Playa D’en Bossa 
  • Lydia’s Smokehouse – good for burgers, in the North or in Ibiza Town

Dinner

  • Balafia – the best grill restaurant: try the tomato salad and chips – simple but delicious 
  • A Mi Manera – a twinkly Italian 
  • La Oliva – up in Dalt Villa in a lovely location, for a fun night out. 
  • Amalur – a sophisticated Italian 
  • Casa Sudaca – good meat dishes and located in the marina 
  • Juntos Ibiza – a trendy new restaurant in San Mateo 
  • Nagai – a pretty garden sushi restaurant 
  • Cala llhasa – a casual dinner spot with local produce
  • Shu Talamanca – nice for an easy pizza dinner on Talamanca beach
  • Il Giardinetto – an Italian in Marina Botafoch for easy, early family dinner 
  • Bambuddah – Asian and fun for something different (and good for groups)
  • La Bodega – fun tapas to eat in town near to Croissant Show, next to the old town ramp with outside seating 
  • Chidas – a delicious casual Mexican in Ibiza town
