This sensational family residence with a pool is a 2-minute walk from the local town square in Amagansett and a 10-minute walk to the local beach. Well set up for a family stay, the house has a full kitchen and a family-sized dining area, and room for 2 families or an extended family to stay together. There is plenty of room for kids of mixed ages, and the house is filled with toys and games, with additional space for a nanny, au pair or doting relatives.
Why Kids Love it
The residence has plenty of toys and books for children under 10 and is a great family space. Kids will love the pool and gardens especially. It is a 2-minute walk into local town square with plenty of shops and a beautiful grassy area for picnics. It is also a 5-minute walk to the local playground and school, with 2 different play areas and swing sets. A 10-minute walk takes you to a beach that has public bathrooms, lifeguards and food trucks.
Things to Know
Minimum stay: 14 nights. Rates range from $2000-$6000 per night. The pool has been recently updated and is heated. There are steps down from the house to the garden, and the pool is also not gated. Steps down to the yard can be blocked off with a stair gate if necessary. Young children will need supervision in the backyard, which is fenced. Car rental is recommended to reach Amagansett; once at the residence, it’s not an essential.
About the Location
The residence is in Amagansett in a highly walkable location. You can walk to the beach, town, train station and local playgrounds. Style Notes
Bright, light, modern and sophisticated. This newly renovated designer home has with gorgeous touches throughout including brand new bathrooms, kitchen, wood floors and furniture (in 2018). All of the artwork in the home was done by local artists. The double height and expansive master suite is entered through a private hallway and has sliding doors to the large deck, giving parents extra special treatment. We love the unique pool, the fixtures and finishes in the kitchen, and the fantastic location where you won’t have to struggle to get kids into a car seat every day.
