They’ll love splashing around in the rooftop pool in the heat of summer, and all the TVs are equipped with screen mirroring, so they can enjoy all their favourite films and shows directly from your mobile devices, for when they need some down-time after days in the city. You’ll be right by the sea for fresh air and child-friendly attractions, including the city’s aquarium (15 minutes on foot), Barcelona Zoo (20 minutes on foot, in the beautiful Ciutadella Park) and the sandy beaches.

Things to Know

Check in: 3pm. Check out: 12pm. There’s a communal sun terrace for the building, as well as an outdoor pool, concierge services and luggage storage room. The hotel maintains a commitment to sustainability: the vast majority of products used are plastic free, they have a reverse osmosis system for water usage, all waste is recycled and they use biodegradable products from local suppliers. Sorry - no pets and no smoking. All rooms have a pillow menu, Nespresso machine, LED TV, bathrobe, toiletries, minibar, safe and connecting room options. Parking is available in the neighborhood but not in the hotel on site. Please note there are only showers; no bathtubs. Breakfast includes a buffet with a wide range of products, a vegan and vegetarian corner, as well as an à la carte menu featuring hot dishes, all included in the breakfast rate.

About the Location

The building is just a short distance from the famous La Rambla and only 150 metres from the sea. This area is full of historic buildings in and around the Gothic Quarter, including the Modernist Lantern Gaudi buildings and the Palau Güell Gaudi museum. It’s also a short walk to the Maritime Museum. The nearest metro station is Drassanes (3 minutes’ walk) and it’s 15 minutes from Barcelona Nord transport hub. The airport is around half an hour away.

Style Notes

Rich history. House in a building dating back to the 19th century, this architectural gem is still filled with many historic details, such as original columns in the reception area and rustic exposed brickwork. Combining tradition, comfort and Barcelonian design, you’ll find warm rich tones and traditional patterned textiles for a cozy, enveloping feel. We love the exposed ceiling beams with ornate decoration, as well as the contrasting contemporary wall panelling.

When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
