Style Notes
Provençal arts style. This 1930’s arts and crafts style villa has been thoughtfully renovated to preserve its traditional features whilst incorporating playful modern touches. Original tiled floors and an elegant glass paneled doorway provide a stylish welcome in the hall. Period tiling carries through to the bedrooms where they’re blended with rustic textiles and contemporary wall papers with bold patterns. In the living areas, decorative wall art – both vintage and modern – sits perfectly beside handpicked furnishings, bold feature glass and stainless-steel appliances for an ultra-contemporary flourish. Outside, art deco style plaster mouldings and triangular eaves continue the vintage vibes, set off by the stunning pool, gravel terraces and pétanque pitch. We love the timeless, alfresco dining area, shaded by 2 magnificent plane trees providing the perfect shady spot to enjoy a morning coffee or leisurely lunch with views of the pool.

Cabannes, Provence
Vineyards, markets and village life
This small village in the Alpilles, 15 minutes southeast of Avignon, offers a traditional slice of Provence: men playing boules in the town square, shopkeepers chatting at the weekly farmer’s market and views of cypress trees and vineyards as far as the eye can see. In the west of Provence it is an easy drive from Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Aix-en-Provence and Saint-Remy-de-Provence, Arles and the Camargue, for a full flavor of the region.
