This new East Hamptons beach home with a heated, saltwater pool is walking distance to a members’ beach and has a kids’ bedroom that can hold 9 little ones. It sleeps up to 12. While you can enjoy simply floating on the pool or curling up on the covered terrace with a book, you will also be just a few minutes’ drive from the ocean, good coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques and stores. This brand-new beach house has gorgeous interior spaces with large contemporary bathrooms.
Why Kids Love it
Kids will love the heated pool and large, grassy back yard. All baby equipment (crib, high chair, baby bath and stair gates), plus age-appropriate toys and books can be provided on request. The house is a few minutes’ walk to a private beach with a lifeguard and 10 minutes’ drive to the ocean. There are plenty of outdoor activities including paddleboarding, surfing, kayaking, sailing, fishing, biking and hiking, plus tennis and horseback riding.
Things to Know
Minimum stay: Rates quoted for July and August are for 7 night stays, longer bookings will be discounted on request. All other times - 2 night minimum. There is an additional charge of $200 per week for weekly housekeeping, pool maintenance and landscaping of stays of 5 nights or more. A chef and babysitter can also be arranged and pre-shopping for groceries is also available on request a few days prior to check-in. The pool is gated with alarms. Children should take care on the steep stairs, there is an open stairwell to the basement. A cleaner, babysitter, and cook are all available upon request. There is a central water filtration system for the entire house and the kitchen includes a hot water dispenser with temperature set for coffee or tea. Pets and smoking are not allowed. Guests are asked to please remove shoes indoors. No permanent markers are allowed inn the property - only washable markers/crayons.
About the Location
The fully equipped home is just north of Springs in East Hampton, in a quiet, leafy neighborhood. It's just 4 minutes' drive to the private and calm Clearwater Beach on the north coast and 4 minutes' drive from the Pollock-Krasner Museum. It's also close to playgrounds and a weekend farmer's market. The towns of East Hampton and Amagansett are both 15 minutes' drive, where you'll find great restaurants and designer boutiques. The location is 2.5 hours’ drive from Manhattan, or 2.5 hours by LIRR train, or Jitney bus – the LIRR train station is 10 minutes away by taxi.
Accommodation Details
This residence has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and is on 2 levels. On the main level there is a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, dining area seating up to 10, and 3 queensize bedrooms (2 of which share a bathroom), there is also a half bathroom. The master bedroom has its own bathroom with a soaking tub and underfloor heating. In the basement is a play / games room, a bathroom and the kids’ bedroom with 2 bunk beds and 5 twin / singles (some trundles) sleeping 9 kids in total. Outdoor space includes a covered terrace with lounging chairs, a heated salt water pool, lawn, outdoor table tennis and firepit.
Style Notes
Contemporary beach house. The wood-clad exterior and airy and bright interior with oak floors and large windows make this a very welcoming, chic stay. The sleek white kitchen with up-to-the-minute stainless-steel appliances is a beautiful space to hang out, as is the light-filled living room with a lounging sofa. We love the fun kids’ room with comfy cushions and furry animals galore, the artistic paintings, wall art and ceramic sculptures throughout and the dreamy 4-poster beds with gorgeous over-sized cable throws.

East Hampton is this affluent playground’s most fashionable town, known for its grand houses and estates as much for its readings and exhibitions. The main draw is Main Beach, a beautiful coastline with clean sands, inviting waters, professional lifeguards, plenty of space and millionaire mansions on the banks. LongHouse Reserve, with its enchanting sculpture garden, and Hither Hills State Park are also worth a visit.
