Style Notes
Mid century modern retreat. This home is full of open living spaces giving a larger family or families travelling together room to relax. The 2 levels allow for children to play freely downstairs, while parents relax on the main floor. The house was recently renovated with new bathrooms and kitchen and furnished with original and new pieces from the 1940s to 1970s – mirrors, lamps, chairs and rugs all carefully echo the era. The acre of gardens outside includes a front yard with a dining table for up to ten, where you can enjoy a family meal in the sunshine. We love the views of the birds in the front yard from the sitting room, the low-slung arm chairs, and the 1950s Heywood Wakefield furniture in the dining room.
