Our little family of four have been travelling all over the globe since my husband, Werner, and I met. He was studying in the USA and I was settled back home in South Africa at the time so it even started as a cross-continental affair! Our daughter Quinn is now five and boasts many stamps in her passport already. Xavier is not yet a year old but travels like a champ. I am a sucker for a tropical island beach holiday so my favourite places have been Bali, Zanzibar and Mexico. Werner likes to add a bit of cultural exploration to his travels so he loves touring Asia and we're both keen to explore more of Eastern Europe and South America at some point. Quinn is obsessed with aeroplanes and the moon so who knows how far she will go? :) Werner has recently become a bit freer from his work-schedule so we are hoping to rent out our beautiful home to facilitate some more travel and fun for us!

Gardens, Cape Town

At the foot of Table Mountain

This affluent inner city area is known as the hub of the city’s creative industries and is at the edge of Cape Town where it meets Table Mountain. It’s easy to get into the center of the city from this location and there are plenty of museums and attractions to visit, including the cable car up the mountain and the city’s planetarium.
