Modernist and arty. This historic Barcelona residence has many original features including 100-year-old mosaic tiled and parquet floors. Upstairs, large windows with beautiful wooden shutters let in natural light. We enjoyed our stay at the property very much. We were 2 adults and 2 kids, 6 and 3 y.o. and for us it was perfect size. We visited in November and the weather wasn't always nice but the apartment was so cozy and beautiful that it was nice and relaxing to spend time inside. The location is great, metro and bus stations are nearby. Shops, cafes and convenience stores are plenty. The neighbourhood is great, to my mind Gràcia is the best district to stay in Barcelona. The house is in a quiet passage, we were not disturbed by noice. There is a football field not far from the house and during games you could hear football fans supporting their teams, but it was not too extreme and it actually gave quite a cool vibe to the place. The host was very friendly and welcoming. All in all a great place to stay in Barcelona, I can highly recommend it!

Incredible hosts that shared their lovely, beautiful home with us. We are so grateful for our time spent there! Starting with the house, it's truly a special area of the neighborhood and quite unique. We loved the openness and all the toys/books for the girls. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner outside when possible and the rooftop was amazing- the girls enjoyed spending a lot of time in the playroom there. We also cooked a lot and their kitchen had everything we needed. The neighborhood is great- with many local shops, bakeries, grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. nearby. There are bus and train stops nearby which was convenient since we needed to drop off and pick up our girls every day from their summer program in the Born district. We had a wonderful time there and have the best memories of our summer in Barcelona :).
