The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful for afternoon naps and the house is located down a pedestrian passage, so traffic noise is minimal.

This residence is in a calm, safe and residential area with an entrance gate. Gràcia is well-connected and easily accessible. It has several metro stations and bus lines that provide convenient transportation options to other parts of Barcelona. Shopping, gyms, green spaces and 2 swimming pools (indoor and outdoor) are within walking distance. Transfer from the airport is a 45-minute drive by taxi or the shuttle bus.
About the Location
This residence is in the Gràcia neighborhood in the north of Barcelona, and around 15-20 minutes from the center and its main attractions. It is located down a quiet, pedestrian lane that connects to the lively urban area with supermarkets, bars and cafes. The area is characterized by 19th century architecture, narrow, winding streets and charming squares. Within 10 minutes’ walk is Park Güell where kids can explore colorful mosaic-covered structures, climb the dragon staircase, and enjoy the panoramic views from the park's terraces.
Accommodation Details
This Catalan home has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a shower. A ground floor property, it has an entrance yard, an inner patio and an upstairs roof terrace. There is queensize primary bedroom and a kids’ room that can be set up with 2 singles beds OR 1 single plus 1 toddler bed (sleeping 2 in total). There is also a double sofabed in the work/playroom. On the main floor there is a fully equipped open plan kitchen. This opens to the dining / living room with a table seating 6 and a sectional sofa with a smart TV. The kitchen has a direct access to the planted inner patio, where an outside stairway connects the ground floor with the roof-terrace. There is an additional WC in the patio-laundry room.
Style Notes
Modernist and arty. This historic Barcelona residence has many original features including 100-year-old mosaic tiled and parquet floors. Upstairs, large windows with beautiful wooden shutters let in natural light. The bright and open kitchen is connected by a huge sliding door with the green inner patio, where a big vine and an old rosebush bloom in the summer. We love the modern paintings and black and white photographs that adorn the walls, the vintage furniture and the cozy living room for relaxing after a day exploring the city.
