There’s a luxurious primary suite for grown-ups, with beautiful views from the large bathtub in the ensuite, as well as a fantastic outdoor gym and garden office - the perfect place to escape the kids for some peace and quiet. As well as multiple living and dining areas indoors, there’s also lots more spaces outside to enjoy that beautiful California weather, from coffee on the deck or al fresco family dinners to lounging around the outdoor fireplace and relaxing in the hot tub.
Why Kids Love it
This spacious, interesting home is great for kids to explore. There’s plenty of space for kids to choose their own bedroom, and the family room is filled with books, a DVD player and a piano for budding musicians. The lower level is ideal for families traveling with grandparents, a nanny or an au pair, as it has a private entrance and it’s own bathroom, with a TV in the bedroom. This area could also work for teenagers who want a little independence. If they ever tire of the beautiful swimming pool, take them for a day trip to the Studios (around 10 minutes’ drive) or to visit the Hollywood sights: the Hollywood Sign, Hollywood Bowl and the Walk of Fame are all less than half an hour away.

About the Location
This residence is located in the Hollywood Hills, California. It’s a couple of streets away from Mulholland Drive, within walking distance of both Briar Summit Open Space and Runyon Canyon, for challenging hiking routes and spectacular views of the city. The hills are quiet and residential - you’ll need a car to access the eateries and stores in the city. Downtown Hollywood and the Sunset Strip are both 15 minutes’ drive, and Beverley Hills is around 20 minutes away. It’s around half an hour away from the beach at Santa Monica, where you’ll find the fun family pier and aquarium, as well as bikes to hire so you can cycle right on the sands, all the way up to Malibu or down to Venice. Accommodation Details
The residence has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, set over 3 floors. At the entrance level, the open plan living and dining room flow into a spacious family room, which opens to a large patio and outdoor fireplace. The chef’s kitchen is well-equipped with top appliances and features an eat-in dining nook with relaxed dining benches. There’s also a second living room with a library and comfy TV area. On this floor you’ll find 1 queensize bedroom and 1 double bedroom, as well as a family bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower. On the lower level, there is a further double bedroom which has a private entrance and is fitted with a TV and Blu-ray/DVD player, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The primary suite is located on the upper floor: it features a contemporary 4-poster kingsize bed, a dressing room, a working fireplace and a luxurious ensuite bathroom with underfloor heating, walk-in shower and separate bathtub.
Style Notes
Eclectic hideaway. Hidden in the hills on nearly an acre of private landscaped grounds, this house is artistic, creative and unique. High ceilings and large glass doors allow for lots of natural light and create a seamless indoor/outdoor environment. Visible wooden beams, mixed patterns and natural textures add a relaxed, rustic vibe, while high-end kitchen appliances and luxurious bathrooms set a more sophisticated tone. We love the height of the A-frame ceiling in the kitchen, the Bohemian-inspired artwork on the walls and the elegant arched windows in the living space.
