The master bedroom is on its own floor and has a superkingsize bed, a walk-in closet and a second bathroom providing that extra bit of privacy when needed. The residence’s central location is a real perk, with many of West London’s treasures minutes’ walk away, including Hyde Park with the Diana Memorial playground, Notting Hill and Holland Park. Kensington high street and its surrounds are full of wonderful restaurants, cafes and shops – including a handy Whole Foods Market just 3 minutes’ walk from the property.
Why Kids Love it
The perfect city base for kids of all ages, with plentiful green space, world class museums and boutiques within easy reach. It’s just a 10-minute walk to Kensington palace and gardens, where younger ones will find hours of fun at the Diana Memorial playground with its pirate ship, sandpits and water play. Hyde Park is just beyond with acres of green space, the Serpentine gallery, and a swimming/boating lake. Keep a look out for seasonal events such as the festive winter wonderland with its fair ground and ice rink and an eclectic summer music festival programme. Older kids and teens will also love the buzzing street markets in Portobello and Notting hill, while kids of all ages will find something of interest at the world-famous Natural History, Science and V&A museums of Kensington, both just 10 minutes away by cab or bus.
Things to Know
This home doesn't have air conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period. This home is spread over three floors with no internal elevator. The dressing room for the master bedroom is located in the hallway outside the room. The fireplace in the sitting room is ornamental. About the Location
The residence is set on a small lane off Holland street, just 3 minutes’ walk from Kensington high street with a good range of boutiques, grocery stores, restaurants and cafes within easy reach. High street Kensington tube station, on the district and circle lines, is just 5 minutes’ walk away. Kids and parents are spoilt for choice when it comes to green space, with Kensington Gardens (3 minutes), Hyde Park (15 minutes) and Holland Park (8 minutes) walk away, with tennis courts, adventure playgrounds, laid back cafes, water play and a lido on offer amongst the acres of parkland. The family-friendly museums of South Kensington – including the Natural History and Science exhibits - are just 10 minutes by cab or bus, or 20 minutes on foot.

This property has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms over 3 floors. The entrance is on the ground floor where guests will find a spacious open plan living area with a corner sofa, Smart Apple TV and bookshelves. Adjoining this is a light filled kitchen/diner adorned with a sleek, modern and fully-equipped kitchen and a round dining table seating 6. The stairs to the first floor are located near the front entrance and lead up to a second bedroom with a kingsize bed, a third bedroom with 2 singlesize beds – ideal for kids, and a bathroom with a basin, shower and toilet. On the second floor is the master bedroom with a superkingsize bed, a separate dressing room and a bathroom with a fitted bath and a shower.

The house is light and bright with wooden floors, sisal style carpets and neutral tones throughout providing a serene, relaxing atmosphere. Huge skylights and shuttered windows flood in natural light when desired and linen covered sofas and a chaise longue provide the perfect places to sprawl out and enjoy some downtime. Vintage posters and art prints, and fabric headboards add pops of color to the living and bedroom areas while the statement sleek black kitchen adds a touch of ultra-modern sophistication. We love the cozy lounge area with its inviting corner sofa surrounded by vintage travel posters, bookshelves and a fireplace – the ideal hangout space for sociable evenings in.
