This pied-a-terre is surrounded by world-class restaurants, including The Five Fields and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay (just a stone's throw away) as well as galleries, exquisite architecture, and beautiful parks. It sleeps 4. Stroll along Victorian streets lined with pastel-hued townhouses or wander beside the Thames on the Chelsea Embankment at the end of the street. You can find the best boutiques and eateries on nearby Kings Road (less than 10 minutes’ walk) or visit The Saatchi Gallery at sophisticated Sloane Square. After a busy day, you can relax in the generous garden - a rarity in this part of the city.

Why Kids Love it

They won’t find toys or books for little kids here, but there’s plenty to see and do for families in the local area. It’s a short walk to Battesea Park over the river, one of the city’s best parks for children. It features a fantastic adventure playground, petting zoo, zip-line trail and boating lake. Also worth a visit is the newly revamped Battersea Power Station (15 minutes’ walk), boasting family-friendly restaurants, a play area and a Lego store.

About the Location

Staying here will give you a taste of Chelsea lifestyle: grab a traditional British pub lunch, then browse the country's leading contemporary artwork at the ultra-chic Saatchi Gallery. You’ll find the River Thames at the end of the street, where you can wander along the water up to Tate Britain and Westminster or cross over to Battersea Park. With Sloane Square Station just a 15-minute stroll away, exploring every corner of the capital is as easy as can be.

Accommodation Details

The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, set over 1 floor (1 floor up from street level). The primary bedroom boasts a super-kingsize bed and a useful work desk, plus an elegant ensuite with a shower-over-tub combo. The second bedroom, pretty with peach and pink tones, houses a split kingsize bed which can be configured as twin beds upon request. It has access to a contemporary bathroom with a walk-in shower. The furnished garden can be accessed from the living room (and second bedroom).

Style Notes

Simple and classic. The living room features a regal marble fireplace and the contemporary compact blue kitchen is right next door for quick snacks and breakfasts. Despite the simple and neutral style of the apartment, we love the pops of warm tones used throughout: from deep reds and blues to lighter peach tones in the bathroom.

Kensington & Chelsea, London

Hyde Park, Harrods and Her Majesty

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has a certain cachet. It’s where you’ll find Buckingham Palace, Sloane Square, the King’s Road, Harrods and many of the most upmarket stores and areas of the city. For kids, Hyde Park is a must-do, whether you go boating on the Serpentine on summer or enjoy the kid-friendly cafés around it. It’s a central area very well connected with the rest of the city by bus and Tube.
