This selection of 14 unique apartments in a Regency townhouse has private communal gardens and a kids concierge, in London’s delightful Maida Vale, close to canals and local shops. The largest apartment sleeps 8. Family provision is excellent, with plenty of space, a 3-acre garden to play in and a kids concierge on hand to help with eating out, entertainment and ideas for getting the best of the city. There are some great recommendations of places to eat in the vicinity, from Giraffe and Byron to sweet shops, dim sum, ice cream and kid-friendly sushi. An area guide is available to help find the best things to do nearby. In room beauty treatments are available through Urban Massage & Beauty by Perfect 10, and the hotel can arrange a complimentary pass to nearby Nuffield Gym in Sheldon Square. REN skincare products are provided, along with cookery books by Yotam Ottolenghi and Nigel Slater.

Why Kids Love it

The hotel has a downloadable kids directory, written by the kids concierge and downloadable, so you will have plenty to do whatever the weather. There is a kids only toy cupboard with toys to borrow on ground floor by kids concierge office, containing everything from crayons and paper to Megabloks, badminton sets, card games, Duplo, a pop up tent and a football. Paddington Recreation Grounds are a 4-minute walk away with plenty of sport options; Queen’s Park is a 20-minute walk away and has a great playground plus animal petting corner. Other nearby parks include Regent's Park, Hampstead Heath and Kensington Gardens. Just a 5 minute walk away, you can take the boat down the Regent's Canal to London Zoo. All apartments have DVD players and there is a wide range of DVD movies suitable for children available.

Minimum stay: 5 nights. Rates are indicative and range from £385-595 per night - please request a quote at time of booking for accurate pricing. Weekly rates and long stays may be offered at reduced nightly rates. All apartments are accessible by elevator. There is a 24-hour concierge service. Pre arrival grocery shopping can be arranged for a fee. Parking spaces may be available for £30 per day - please enquire on booking to reserve one. All rooms are made up with luxury bedlinen and include REN skincare products, yoga mats, iPod docking stations and video entry phones. There is a cordless direct dial telephone with voicemail for each apartment, and a personal safe. All rooms are slightly different - please enquire on booking if you have preferences and to find the right fit for your family. In all suites, an extra bed or crib is free for under 12s; a rollaway bed for adults is chargeable. About the Location

The apartments are located in the middle of Maida Vale and Little Venice, very close to Lord's Cricket Ground and Abbey Road Studios. The location is great for exploring like a local and is well connected to public transit, including bus and tube, with Maida Vale and Warwick Avenue subway stations just a few minutes' walk. Clifton Road, a block or so away, is known locally for its cafes, organic delis and boutiques, and has a traditional butcher shop and greengrocers. Other nearby treats include the Regent’s Canal, which has a lovely towpath to walk along, fringed with houseboats, and plenty of stellar parks and playgrounds, including Hampstead Heath (12 minutes by car), Regent’s Park and London Zoo (11 minutes by car) and Kensington Gardens (30 minutes on foot/10 minutes by car). Notting Hill is half an hour's walk or 10 minutes' drive; St Johns Wood is 15 minutes' walk. Heathrow Airport is a 40-minute drive away or easily accessible via subway or train from Paddington Station (10 minutes' drive).

The 1-bed apartment: measures 786 sq ft and sleeps up to 3. It has a living/dining room with dining table for up to 6, bathroom with tub and shower, kitchen with dishwasher and washer-dryer and bedroom with kingsize bed, and room for a crib. It has views of the gardens and is on the ground floor.
2-bedroom apartments: measure 920- 1166sqft and sleep up to 4. Set on the first, second and third floors, these apartments have 2 bedrooms (1 with kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom with tub and shower, 1 with a set of twins or double bed), 1 family bathroom with bath and shower, a separate spacious living room with dining area and a fully-fitted modern kitchen with dishwasher and washer-dryer.
The 3-bedroom apartment: measures 1646 sqft and is on the top (fifth) floor with direct elevator access; it sleeps up to 6. The penthouse has 3 bedrooms (2 with kingsize beds, 1 with 2 twin beds or a double bed) and 2 bathrooms, a terrace with outdoor seating, an open living and dining area and a fully fitted kitchen. There is also a guest cloakroom, working fireplace, office/study area and Nespresso machine.
The 4-bedroom penthouse: 3 private terraces with skyline views, directly accessible via elevator, measuring 2,320 sqft. A large living/dining open area with a fully fitted kitchen and 4 bedrooms: 2 primary suites with kingsize beds and ensuite shower rooms, 1 kingsize room and 1 double room. The 2 main bathrooms each have a shower-over-bathtub.

Loved our Stay at The Europa House; perfect London apartment in an elegant and accessible location. We received a warm welcome with our toddler being shown straight to the cupboard by reception full of books/toys. Highlights: (1) The locked garden! A rare treat to have access to one of London's 'secret' community gardens. The most glorious English garden with swings and small playground perfect for young kids. Fantastic in February's blustery wind and rain, must be even more magical when the suns out. (2) Very clean, and with a thorough and fast daily service. (3) Ample space, our 2-bedroom was large (by London standards) with very good storage for stroller/shoes/luggage etc. Lowlights: None. We would highly recommend and will be returning when next in London.

We loved our stay at the Europa House. It's the perfect serviced apartment type accommodation; there is fresh water, milk, fruit, and most importantly with kids, daily housekeeping ;). We stayed with my 10 year old son and my dad, and they were able to share a second bedroom with twin beds. They were also able to provide a comfortable portable bed for a friend who was staying for the night. There are two full bathrooms and a fully operational kitchen. Maida Vale / Little Venice is a perfect and well-connected central base to explore London, with a Tesco Express grocery store just across the street and surrounded by charming pubs and a cute high street. Guests have access to a beautiful private garden with a playground that is only accessible to the homes around the garden. We love the Europa House and will be back soon.!
