This elegant villa offers privacy, tranquility and rustic luxury surrounded by lush, Mediterranean gardens in the foothills of Mallorca’s Serra de Tramuntana mountains, only a 15 minute drive to the sea. It sleeps 8. Newly built, it blends modern design and state of the art convenience with traditional Mallorcan touches and sweeping countryside views, giving guests the best of all worlds. The primary bedroom is particularly luxurious with its own ensuite bathroom, floor to ceiling glass windows and a large private terrace to soak up the scenery in peace. Relaxation is the order of the day here, with light, airy open plan living and an abundance of garden space for all the family to enjoy time together, as well as apart. There are plenty of places to enjoy a quiet moment in, from the large outdoor pool with its day bed and loungers to the garden hammock, set amongst the olive trees. Those wanting to explore more of the outdoors have hiking and biking trails on their doorstep. Historic Pollensa is easily accessible via bike or car, offering up quaint squares, cafes, bars and a sophisticated culinary scene.
Why Kids Love it
Kids have plenty of space to run off their energy and entertain themselves at this roomy rustic retreat. The huge living room has large sofas and a flat-screen satellite TV so kids can chill out with a movie or listen to their favourite music on the SONOS sound system. The gardens have lots on offer to tempt the kids outside with a large outdoor swimming pool, a sunken trampoline, shady hammock, table tennis and a football goal. The villa comes with a well set-up kitchen, as well as a barbecue making it ideal for families who enjoy cooking together. Nearby Pollensa has lots of local produce in its shops – and at the weekly market – for kids to sample and bring back for a family feast. For those seeking high energy adventure, there are plenty of hiking and biking trails nearby while for water enthusiasts, nearby Alcúdia is considered one of the best of Mallorca’s beaches with its sandy shores, water sports and calm, sheltered waters ideal for little paddlers. The Alcúdia Hidropark with its wave pool, water slides and splash zone is also a short drive away.
Things to Know
Minimum stay: 7 nights, other durations on request. Credit card details are required prior to departure and a €1,500 security deposit will be blocked, but not taken, and released subject to a full damage inspection on departure. The Balearic Eco Tourist tax is included in the rental. Please note there is an ungated pool and a pond which younger children should be supervised around. For those who require pool heating, this is available if requested in advance of stay and will incur an additional charge of €400 paid locally on arrival (and is dependent on season). All bathrooms are ensuite but only the primary bedroom has a bath tub. Hairdryers are available at the property. There is air conditioning and WiFi throughout. Please note that there is a working fireplace. Car hire is recommended; there is private parking on-site. The host’s concierge team can help arrange a pre-arrival fridge stock, in-house chefs/catering, babysitting/childcare services, airport transfers upon request.
About the Location
The villa is located in Mallorca’s northern countryside, nestled in the foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana with plenty of hiking and biking trails on offer. Just 10 minutes’ drive will take guests to the charming town of Pollensa, loved for its mountain setting, hill top monastery and Roman heritage. It also has many stylish cafes, shops, upmarket restaurants, and museums – as well as a famous market held every Sunday providing a local taste of Mallorca. Port de Pollensa, just 6.7 km away, has a welcoming laid-back atmosphere with restaurants, bars and many fine sandy beaches in its vicinity. Its main beach is long and spacious at nearly 1.5km, with clear shallow waters ideal for paddlers. Alucdia is just a 15 minute drive east of the villa. The 9 hole Pollensa Golf Course is a 5 minute drive away while the Eu Moll tennis club is 8.5km. Palma, Mallorca's capital is just over 40 minutes' drive away. The Palma to Sóller vintage wooden train, popular with kids and adults alike, can be caught from the Ferrocarril station there. Mallorca airport is 40 minutes away.
Accommodation Details
This property has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms set over 2 floors. On the ground floor is the impressive entrance hall with its stone floor and lofty ceiling, leading directly into the open plan lounge and dining area with its 8-seater dining table, large comfy sofas, working fireplace, satellite TV, SONOS sound system and beautiful French style doors which open up on to the outdoor terrace, and dining/seating areas. From the lounge guests can step through to the fully-equipped kitchen with American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and breakfast table for casual dining. It has its own patio access. On this floor there is also 1 bedroom with twin rooms, and ensuite shower room and a private terrace. Upstairs, there are 3 further bedrooms on the first floor. 1 twin room with 2 single beds, an ensuite bathroom, built in desk, 1 double room with a doublesize bed and private terrace and the primary bedroom with floor to ceiling glass windows, a large furnished terrace and an ensuite bathroom with a bath tub. Outside in the gardens guests will find a large 12 x 5 m swimming pool (heated on request), a pool terrace with day beds and sun loungers, a hammock, an outdoor shower, barbecue, outdoor games and a covered dining/seating terrace.

The villa’s lush Mediterranean setting winds through to its interiors with the subtle use of traditional Mallorcan stone, terracotta tiling, natural woods and floor-to-ceiling glass windows to draw in the views. In laid back country style, the rooms are calm, light and airy with modern canvases, and soft furnishings adding warm splashes of color. The set-up has been carefully thought out with plenty of private nooks and comfy larger spaces to gather for a chat or some alfresco dining. We love the beautiful manicured Mediterranean gardens, the perfect tonic for busy lives with plenty of relaxing spots to while away a summer’s afternoon – from the roomy outdoor pool, the olive tree hammock, and the shaded terraces to the luxurious pool-side day bed, all positioned to make the most of the beautiful mountainous setting.
