This is the perfect place for central city stay, with all the home comforts of your own place. These apartments have their own kitchens and living spaces, with a bunch of hotel-style extras, including luxury linens and a management team on hand to help with concierge requirements. Why Kids Love it

Older children will love the nearby tourist attractions such as Madame Tussauds and Baker Street - the home of Sherlock Holmes. Take a half-hour stroll through beautiful Regents Park (10 minutes away) to reach London Zoo or jump on the tube to explore Hyde Park where you can swim or boat on the Serpentine, ride horses or explore the amazing fountains and playgrounds. For younger kids and toddlers, Hamley's toy store is 15 minutes away on foot and the Disney store is just 10 minutes' walk. The host team can provide a high chair or crib on request.

Style Notes

This beautiful building is a Grade II listed property, originally designed by Claude Ferrier and restored by Barbara Weiss architects. Interiors have been designed by Waldo Works to create a luxurious yet effortless style, with classic neutral color schemes and laid-back furniture - an antidote to the fuss and fancy of old-fashioned London hotels. We love the period fireplaces, the original cornicing and the contemporary Smeg kitchen appliances.

Marylebone, London

Parks, zoos and a chic high street

Marylebone is a fantastic central location for a London vacation with kids. This upmarket district of the city is near green spaces and child-friendly cafes, the best butcher and fromagerie in town, Regents Park, Paddington Park and, for when mom needs a little shopping hit, the mecca that is Selfridges.
