Style Notes

Serene and light. This home is a sun-filled, colonial style, shingle home. It attracts a lot of natural light and is very private, with lots of vegetation and an expansive backyard. Filled with beautiful art and furniture, the house feels elegant yet fresh and relaxed. We love the beautiful multi-aspect windows which flood the rooms with light, the pretty textiles in the nursery and the traditional roll-top bathtub.

I am a mother of three small children. We have lived in California for 18 years and Mill Valley for 5 years. We believe Mill Valley is the most magical place on the planet and we hope you will agree.

Mill Valley, Marin County

At the base of Mount Tam

Voted as one of the top 10 small towns in America to live in, Mill Valley, four miles north of San Francisco, has everything to offer a family, from superb kid-friendly beaches within a five-minute drive to hikes around Mount Tamalpais, family-friendly restaurants and cafés, and a lovely downtown with parks, playgrounds and interesting independent stores. Don’t miss migrating the Californian grey whales just off the coast from December to May each year.
