Style Notes

Classic Trulli style. A historic Trulli building lovingly renovated and updated by its owners with the greatest care and respect for local tradition. ‘Rustic and local’ is the order of the day with artistic flair and craftsmanship at the heart of the redesign. Traditional stone and whitewashed walls combine with luxurious, modern touches including French beds with state-of-the-art mattresses and contemporary showers. Locally handcrafted furniture such as the kids’ bunk beds and wooden ladder detailing in the bathrooms provide modern artisan updates that blend perfectly with their authentic stone house surroundings. Repurposed and upcycled items such as traditional Apuglian tools and materials add character throughout. We love the contemporary glass extension with its infinity pool and floor to ceiling views, with doors that can be fully flung open for seamless inside/outside living.
