Perched above pretty Monoderndri bay, this beautiful residence offers privacy, comfort, and plenty of space alongside some of the best panoramic views on the island. The 3 spacious bedrooms come with ensuite bathrooms, and the primary is just steps from the pool with its own direct access, ideal for a taking advantage of a peaceful morning dip before the kids awake. There’s a large living room for chilled downtime and a glorious dining terrace providing front row seats for the legendary Paxiot sunsets. The inbuilt BBQ and fully stocked kitchen provide plenty of at home dining options, while the waterside tavernas of Monodendri beach are just a 5-minute stroll down the hill. The pretty ports of Loggos, and buzzier Lakka are a just a 5-minute drive away for more excellent restaurants, cafes and bars offering up fresh seafood and home style cooking alongside local wine and beer. For larger groups of family and friends, the 2 neighboring villas can also be hired - close enough for stress free gatherings while maintaining their privacy

Why Kids Love it

Kids will enjoy a real taste of the island life at this spacious residence, with their own private pool, lookout style views over the sea, and sunsets that will stop even the oldest ones in their tracks. The villa has a twin room for kids who like to share and its own ensuite shower room for those who don’t. Every bedroom is air conditioned providing a comfortable night’s sleep whatever the temperature. The cool stone interiors of the living room provide the perfect retreat space at hotter times of day and come with a TV and DVD/CD players. The poolside terrace has plenty of chill out seating, and a BBQ for fun family cookouts. For those keen on swimming, the local beach is just a 5-minute walk down the hill, with 2 tavernas serving up simple but tasty Greek cuisine. Local boat hire is available for a fun way to reach the bustling local towns of Lakka and Gaios or the shallow, sandy shores of Anti-Paxos – perfect for little paddlers, as well as older water babies with some of the clearest waters in the Mediterranean. The host can provide baby cribs and other essentials on request.

Things to Know

Minimum stay 7 nights. Paxos is known for its stunning beaches which are mainly pebbly so packing some beach shoes is a good idea. Please note that the villa’s pool is ungated so younger ones should be monitored around it. Bath and pool towels are included in the rental, and there is a safe provided. There are 3 shower rooms but no bathtubs at the property. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms and WiFi throughout. Car hire can be included as part of the rental. There is parking available on-site but please note that there are 31 steps down to the villa from the parking area making it unsuitable for those with reduced mobility. The host’s concierge team can help arrange a variety of in-house extras such as chefs/catering, babysitting/childcare services, boat hire, pre-arrival fridge stock, airport transfers and taxi bookings. Please let them know at the time of booking.

About the Location

The villa is located on the northeast coast of the Greek island of Paxos, part of the pretty Ionian islands. Beautiful Monodendri beach is on the residence’s doorstep, a 5-minute walk downhill – just slightly longer on the return! It has 2 waterside tavernas serving up local lunches (they are not currently open for dinner but do serve evening drinks in the high season). The island is easy to get around by car with most towns and villages accessible in under 20 minutes. Bustling Lakka and Gaois are 5 minutes and 12 minutes away by car, while pretty and peaceful Loggos is a 5 minute drive, providing access to the sheltered bays of Marmari and Levrechio. Boat hire is a popular way to get around the island and is available at most of the ports. Journey out to Anti Paxos for the day for turquoise waters, sandy bays and more excellent tavernas. The closest international airport is Corfu 1 – 2 hours away from Paxos by hydrofoil/ferry and a 10 minute taxi ride between the Corfu International Airport (Ioannis Kapodistrias) and Corfu port.

Accommodation Details

This residence has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms set over 1 floor. The communal living areas are open plan in style comprising of a living/dining and kitchen area. The living room has a large corner sofa and coffee table with a TV and DVD player. There's a farmhouse style dining table seating 6 just beside the living space with terrace doors providing beautiful views alongside access to the pool terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped and comes with a full cooker, microwave, American style fridge and a dishwasher. There is a separate cloakroom area with a washing machine. There are 3 bedrooms – the primary comes with a double bed, an ensuite shower room and poolside access; there is a second double bedroom, with French doors leading onto the terrace and a twin room with 2 single beds. Both come with ensuite shower rooms. Outside, there is a shaded patio terrace with sofa relaxation area, an infinity pool, and a sun deck with sun loungers. There is a balconied terrace area with further seating and a dining table seating 6, soaking up panoramic sea views from every direction.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
If cancelled 61-300 days before arrival, 30% of the total booking amount will be retained as a cancellation fee. If cancelled 0 – 60 days before arrival, 100% charge of the total booking amount will be retained. In addition to the host’s policy which is listed here, all cancellations are subject to a Kid & Coe cancellation fee of 15% of the booking total.
