With the feel of an artist’s apartment, filled with art books and plants, there is a cozy living room and a quiet back bedroom. A hand-illustrated neighborhood map points out not only the best places to play and eat and see with your kids, but a bunch of places you can tuck into for some wine or shopping. Crystals and aromatherapy items are provided in the bathroom for after the kids go to bed.

Why Kids Love it

The residence is stocked with delightful toys, books, and art supplies for children of all ages so your kids will be busy during their stay. You can walk in just a few minutes to several wonderful playgrounds, delicious places to eat, and to Philadelphia's amazing children's museums such as the Franklin Institute, The Academy of Natural Sciences, and the Philadelphia Art Museum. If you're getting cozy indoors, there are toys, television, and coloring books galore. Also, the bright orange fridge is always a huge hit! Bath time is extra fun with hooded towels and bubble bath provided.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 2 days. The apartment is in a historic residential building, and shares a lobby with Rival Brothers Coffee where you can get your morning cup and treats. Those traveling with young children will need to be mindful of beautiful knick-knacks on low shelves through the property. There is a 24/7 front desk for all your needs, and a beautiful yoga room and gym for use at any time. Special items for kids include a pack’n’play and child-friendly dinnerware; the cozy daybed in the living room sleeps 2 (and makes for a great play fort), ideal for older kids. There are bike racks in the basement but there is no parking. NOTE: a city tax of 15.5% will be added on top of the total cost of the stay (which will be charged separately) when a booking is accepted.

About the Location

The residence is on the first floor of the historic Touraine Apartment building in the absolute heart of Philadelphia, walking distance to everywhere. If you've forgotten anything, run to the food market across the street, the farmers market down the block, or the coffee shop right in the building. The residence is around 20 minutes from Philadelphia International Airport and 11 minutes by taxi from the 30th Street Amtrak station. There are bus routes 1 block away. Car rental is not essential in this central location.
