Perks for the Parents
A pretty townhouse in Primrose Hill, with neighborhood cafes and family-friendly pubs at the end of the street. It sleeps 6. Should you need to work during your stay (snooze), there's also a handy office space between the first and second floors, including a desk, chair, and printer. Parents will love the little patio area, with its chalk white walls and tumbling greenery, as well as the top floor bedroom, with its wall of silhouetted branches and sweeping rooftop views.
Why Kids Love it
There's a great little balcony on the fifth floor, complete with table and chairs, where kids can enjoy the sights in private or gaze up at the stars. Younger kids will love a trip to London Zoo (less than 10 minutes’ walk) where they can also explore Regents Park, with its beautiful playground and boating lake. Older kids and teens can hang out in vibrant Camden, where there are hippie markets, alternative shops and music venues.
Things to Know
No smoking, pets or parties. The lead guest must be at least 25 years old. All guests will receive a rental agreement prior to their stay which must be signed and submitted. As with any classic terrace house, there's no shortage of stairs, this home may not appropriate for guests with mobility issues. Car hire is not essential as there's plenty to do and see on foot or via public transport.
About the Location
Primrose Hill is one of London's hidden gems, with its leafy streets, rolling hills, and splendid Victorian houses. The nearest tube is Chalk Farm (7 minutes’ walk) where you can jump on a subway into the City or the West End. Glorious Hampstead Heath is another fun day out, with spectacular views over the city and outdoor swimming ponds (10 minutes’ by taxi). Heathrow airport is around 50 minutes by car or subway/train.
Accommodation Details
The open-plan living room is beautifully minimal, with large windows and 3 plush sofas. The kitchen boasts a smart silver finish, warm pendant lighting, and French doors opening onto a delightful outdoor decking area. At the front, a window offers picture-perfect views of the terraced street from the dining table. As well as 3 double bedrooms full of natural light, there's a single daybed in the hallway on the basement floor, ideal for a child if you need a little extra space. Upstairs, there's a family-sized bathroom with its marbled walls, impressive walk-in shower and deep bathtub.
Style Notes
Modern townhouse. The ambience is finished with leafy plants and colorful cushioned chairs, contrasting the charcoal tones of the wall and fireplace. Chic tiled bathrooms and minimal styling in the bedrooms add to the hotel-style luxury, while subtle mid-century styling adds a touch more elegance. We love the marble fireplace, the stylish stainless steel kitchen and the spectacular walk-in shower in the family bathroom.

This fashionable area has cupcake bakeries, patisseries and plenty for yummy mummies to do; it’s very convenient for Oxford Street too. Known for its bohemian past, it attracts actors, writers and creative types and their broods. Primrose Hill itself is a great spot for a picnic, walk or city views.
