An ultra stylish coastal casa just steps away from beautiful Litibu beach with lawned gardens, a saltwater pool and all the benefits of a dedicated concierge service. It sleeps 10 adults + 2 kids. Ideal for one large family or multiple groups travelling together, there’s extensive space inside and out, a palatial primary suite and 2 stylish casitas providing private accommodation away from the main house. A continental breakfast is served daily, and the hosts can additionally help arrange for in house chefs, bartenders and childcare so parents can fully relax. The beautifully designed outside spaces include a yoga area with hammocks, a stylish palapa with alfresco dining between the beach and pool, an outdoor kitchen/bar and a rooftop terrace with a firepit and sunset views. The lawned garden is fully secure with a fence and a gate that opens directly onto the beach for those wanting to surf, swim or stroll down to the local beach club restaurants. There are several pretty villages a short drive away including Punte Mita and Sayulita, and for golfers there's a Greg Norman designed course just down the road.
Why Kids Love it
Kids are in for a treat at this dreamy, bohemian beachside residence. Designed by the hosts with their grandchildren in mind, there are plenty of thoughtful touches to delight kids of all ages. The private saltwater pool is warm, shallow and bound to be a hit with those seeking splash about fun. Older kids looking to relax will enjoy the yoga area with hammocks to chill in, while the lovely lawned garden has space for games and direct access to the beach. The local coastline is known for its wide, sandy beaches and gentle waves which are ideal for swimmers of all abilities. Older kids and teens are welcome to borrow the host’s surfboards, kayaks and body boards. When downtime is needed, the residence provides plenty of relaxing spots to chill out, including a roof top terrace with a firepit for gathering together under the stars. Inside, there are toys, games, a large flatscreen TV, Sonos speakers and a hand controlled music system for those who enjoy setting the playlist. A travel crib, highchair and babysitters can be arranged on request.
Things to Know
Minimum stay: 4 nights. A full-time Concierge and dedicated housekeeping team are on hand to help throughout your stay, and can book additional services such as childcare, bartenders, butlers, and chefs. The outdoor pool is ungated so little ones should be supervised when outside; it is surrounded by all the living quarters however so is in full view from most of the communal spaces. There is a floating staircase in the main house and a loft with a ladder in one of the casitas that little ones should be supervised around. Daily housekeeping is included as part of the rental, and a continental breakfast is provided each morning. Shampoo and hair dryers are provided. There is high speed internet, air conditioning and a washer/dryer. Toddler beds, air beds and a travel crib can be provided to accommodate additional younger guests. Car hire is highly recommended to make the most of exploring the area and private car parking is available at the residence.
About the Location
The residence is located on the shores of pretty Litibú beach, a nature-filled stretch of coast just south of the biodiverse Riviera Nayarit, home to dolphins, turtles and humpback whales. Nestled between the resorts of Punte Mita (15 minutes’ drive) and the pretty village of Sayulita (25 minutes away), this stretch of coast is home to excellent surf beaches, markets, arts/crafts boutiques, coastal beach clubs and the hiking trails of Monkey Mountain. Litibu Sunsets Restaurant and Beach Club is a short walk down the beach from the residence or a 5 minute drive will get you to the Barracuda Restaurant and Beach Club on the pristine beach of Punta Negra. La Cruz Marina is 15 minutes away for daily fresh fish and the sunday markets. The Greg Norman designed Higuera Golf Course is under a 10-minute drive away. The nearest airport is the Puerto Vallarta International, 50 minutes’ drive.
Accommodation Details
The residence has 4 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms divided over a main house and 2 separate casitas. On the ground floor of the main casa is a large living area with sofa seating, a large flat screen TV, a Sonos sound system and poolside access. There is 1 bedroom adjacent to it with a kingsize bed and an ensuite shower room with direct access to the pool. Upstairs is the primary bedroom – a spacious family-sized room with a kingsize bed, a double sofa bed, an ensuite bathroom and a large balcony with ocean views. On the roof is a rooftop terrace with a firepit. Outside, the saltwater pool provides a central anchor point for the residence's buildings with the main house at its back and 2 casitas positioned either side of it. One casita has a kingsize bed, an ensuite shower room and an outdoor shower while the other has 2 floors with a kingsize bed and shower room at ground level and a loft floor with 2 single beds. Outside space includes a pool terrace with seating; a thatched palapa housing an outdoor living area and a dining table seating 10; a fully-equipped kitchen; a bar; a lawned garden with beach gate; a saltwater pool; several outdoor showers and a yoga area with hammocks.

Inspired by the bungalows of Bali, the energy of Ibiza and the organic materials of the Yucatan Peninsula, traditional thatching and local timber has been used alongside whitewashed walls to create an elegant but natural beach house base. Family is at the heart of the design with a stunning open-sided palapa for gatherings taking center stage, alongside the saltwater pool. Local and imported custom made lighting fixtures are used throughout to create an inviting space whatever the time of day. We love gathering on the rooftop terraza, with its wonderful views of sunset over the Pacific Ocean and its warming fire pit for gathering together late into the evening, swapping stories and gazing at the stars.

This Mexican Riviera town is a major attraction on the Pacific Coast, an hour by plane from Mexico City. It's known for its beaches and colourful traditional towns nearby; there's plenty to explore as a family, from horseback riding along the beach to swimming, surfing and waving to the giant humpback whales who swim by each year between December and March.
