This beachfront apartment is part of a complex with swimming pools and facilities, and is a short stroll from a sandy beach. It can be rented with its sister apartment, The Punta Mita Residence 2, to sleep up to 12 guests and 2 babies. The master bedroom is beautifully styled with a bathroom separated from the main bedroom with a rattan screen, so you can appreciate the ocean views from the bath. Shared facilities include pools, jacuzzi, spa, bar and grill, fitness, wellness and spa center and ocean activities center. WiFi throughout. Cable TV in the lounge and master bedroom.

Why Kids Love it

Under 5 minutes’ walk from a sandy beach, this apartment is ideal for kids who want to play on the beach. The right side of the beach is great for surfers while the left is great for kids. There is a surf break in front of the complex and a beach club with ocean activities. The shared pools and amenities are kid-focused, and babysitting can be arranged for a fee. The host can arrange baby amenities on request. The surrounding area is green and lush - there are walking trails and exotic gardens. Nearby activities include fishing, surf lessons, whale watching, kayaking and paddle surfing. The bedroom layouts offer flexibility: every room has a king or queen bed and a double sofa bed.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 2 nights. The residence is on the second floor with an elevator. Parking is available. Gym, spa and beach and ocean activities have a cost and are bookable at the W Hotel. Daily maid service is included. The host can provide pool and beach toys, high chairs, crib and books and games. Please request on booking. Room service and babysitting are also available for an additional fee. Beach activities, golf, whale watching, fishing, kayak, surf, paddle surf, private chef, grocery shopping, massage and full spa services are bookable with the concierge for an extra fee.

About the Location

The residence is part of the Los Veneros Resort and Beach Club in Punta de Mita on the Riviera Nayarit, Mexico. It is approximately 45 minutes from Puerto Vallarta International airport and under 5 minutes’ walk to the nearest beach. It is a quiet area, around 30 minutes from Sayulita and 5 minutes to Punta Mita. As part of the resort, guests have access to the pools, jacuzzi, spa, bar and grill, fitness, wellness and spa center and ocean activities center for a fee. It is 10 minutes by car/taxi from a supermarket and shops.

Accommodation Details

This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom 1 story apartment has an open plan living/dining/kitchen space leading to a terrace with a safe balcony, additional eating area and loungers. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom with bath and shower plus a private terrace with ocean views. The second and third bedrooms have a queen-size bed and there is a double sofa bed in every bedroom. There will be a brand new beach clubs at the complex from March 2016 with 2 restaurants, a gym and a spa.

Chic and modern, with stylish interiors and contemporary living spaces. The dominant colors are neutral and orange, with sleek finishes and clean lines. The open plan living space is backed by a modern kitchen and has lounge spaces fringed with greenery. We love the terrace with its plants and sun lounge area. There are fabulous views from the terrace of the shared pool, landscaped gardens and Pacific Ocean beyond.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 15% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 15% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.

The beach is a very quick walk away and great for little kids - nice sand, not crowded, no strong undercurrents. The pools have large shallow areas which are great for little kids. There are some sand/pool toys available. We had a local chef arranged by Juan to cook lunches for us. They initially wanted us to do the shopping, but we were able to arrange for them to do the shopping because we didn't know what they needed to cook. There are 2 restaurants at the W Hotel next door, otherwise it is a 30 minute drive to restaurants but some great ones in the town of Punta Mita. Juan was very helpful and always replied quickly to any questions. Unfortunately, there was a rave and another loud party at the W Hotel while we were there so it was very noisy 2 of the nights we stayed there. It would have been nice to have some toys or high chair available.

Very nice place. Los Veneros resort is beautiful: the vegetation, the swimming pool, the very nice beach etc. Personal are very friendly. The apartment was perfect for us ( we were 6 adults and 2 babies).Comfortable. Everything is clean and housekeeping everyday. We were cooking most of the time at the apartment ( maybe need a upgrade for the pots and cooking tools but was ok) . Also Restaurant at the W hotel is very nice and can accommodate family. Overall very good place for family vacation

We just returned from 4 nights and are already planning a trip to return! It was a perfect trip for our family. The unit is BEAUTIFUL, the grounds IMPECCABLE, and the beach PICTURESQUE! There is 1 restaurant on the property and the W next door has a couple of dining options. But, we cooked all of our meals. Next time we will rent a car and stop at the grocery store on our way in. It is a little difficult to get a taxi when you need to get somewhere but everyone is very nice and helpful. Juan was also very prompt in getting back to us when we needed anything.
