A compact and comfortable apartment in the heart of the city, close to museums, galleries and Via Veneto. It sleeps 5. This picturesque and elegant part of the city is surrounded by history and culture: jump on the metro to see the Trevi Fountain (8 minutes), Spanish Steps (5 minutes) or Villa Medici (6 minutes) and you can explore countless museums, galleries and opera houses within walking distance.

Why Kids Love it

While the apartment doesn’t come with toys or books for little kids, you’ll be well placed to explore the city’s family attractions on foot. It’s 10 minutes walk to Villa Borghese park and gardens, where you can spend days exploring the gardens and visiting the cinema, open air theater, roller skating rink, zoo and zoology museum. Just the other side of the park you’ll find the Children’s Museum of Rome (13 minutes by metro), complete with a play area, water play zone, climbing activities and interactive exhibits.

Things to Know

Check in: between 2-9pm; check out:10am. Late checkout is charged from €25 to €40. The apartment is located on the second floor and there is an elevator. It’s equipped with air conditioning, washing machine, iron and ironing board plus linen and towels. Please enquire to request a crib (cot). City Tax is charged in line with local law (€6 per person per night) to be paid at check-in for a maximum of 10 nights. You can also rent an additional apartment, The Barberini 1 Residence, in the same building (sleeps 5).

About the Location

It’s just a few steps away from Barberini metro station in the heart of Rome. Car rental is not necessary due to the fast public transport and driving can be difficult in the city. If you need to rent a car, the host can arrange vehicle hire (car for up to 3 people €60\n; van for up to 4 people €65\n; van for 6 people €75\n; minibus for 7/8 people €90\n). It’s just 6 minutes by metro to the main Roma train terminal. The Colosseum and Pantheon are both 15 minutes away by metro, while Vatican City is half an hour away.

Accommodation Details

The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The primary bedroom features a double bed, side table and a desk area, while the second bedroom has both a double bed and a single. The bathroom has a shower only - there is no bathtub. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and dinnerware and the separate dining room seats 6. There’s also a compact couch area with a Smart TV.

Classic and chic. The apartment has been styled in simple colors with timeless furnishings to create a neutral base within this bustling city. We love the wall mural in the primary bedroom, the exposed ceiling beams adding a nod to the historic building, and the monochrome bathroom with contemporary marble tiling and a spacious walk-in shower.

Deposit (30%) is not refundable. Payment and booking is non-refundable if booking is made less than 6 weeks from time of booking. In addition to the host’s policy which is listed here, all cancellations are subject to a Kid & Coe cancellation fee of 15% of the booking total.
