Perks for the Parents
A beautiful Provencal home in the countryside just outside Saint Remy, with a private pool and stunning interiors. It sleeps 10. Spend your days lounging on the large terrace or swimming in the 5 x 20m pool - there's also a pool house to relax outdoors with the family. When you're ready to explore, the nearby village of Saint Remy has traditional weekend markets and independent stores to collect local produce for big family meals.
Why Kids Love it
Children of all ages will love the pool, and there's a swing outside to try - as well as heaps of green space for garden games and a pingpong table. Saint-Rémy is a great village for kids, with a small playground, carousel, an ice cream parlor and an animal park nearby (L’Arche de Meo, 15 minutes’ drive). Parents with babies can rent additional equipment on request, including a crib, linens or a high chair.
Things to Know
Minimum stay: 7 nights. Bookings in July and August run from Saturday to Saturday. Tourist tax to be paid directly to the host on arrival (5.76€ pppn). The property is managed by an agency in France who act as a concierge during your stay: they can advise places to go, local restaurants to try, shopping deliveries, at-home treatments, arrange housekeeping, babysitting, chef services, excursions or equipment rental. Car rental is advised - there is parking available at the property.
About the Location
The property is located in a rural area, around 20-30 minutes' walk from Saint Remy. You can hire bikes to cycle into the village, or it's a 5-minute drive. The village is filled with traditional bakeries, local weekly markets, restaurants and an art gallery. There’s also some historic sites to explore nearby, including the archaeological site of Glanum and the Cloister of St Paul de Mausole. This region has plenty of routes for hiking, climbing, canoeing, cycling and horse riding, so it’s great for families who love the outdoors. The nearest train station is in Avignon and the closest international airport is Marseilles (around 1 hour away by car).
Accommodation Details
The house has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, set over 2 floors. On the ground floor, you'll find a lounge, a second living room, an open kitchen with direct access to the terrace, as well as a bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Upstairs, there's an ensuite bedroom and sumptuous primary suite with its own bathroom, plus 2 more bedrooms which share a bathroom.
Style Notes
Combining Provencal style and contemporary decoration, this house is located in a peaceful setting surrounded by olive trees and lavender fields. We love the beautifully colorful bedrooms - each with its own palette and identity - as well as the parquet brick fireplace and the deep blue kitchen cabinetry.

Saint-Remy-de-Provence, Provence
Artists, sunshine and good living
Twelve miles south of Avignon, this beautiful Provençal village embodies all that is great about the area; art, good living and sunshine. Vincent Van Gogh lived here for a time; it’s also the birthplace of Nostradamus. Explore the Roman ruins nearby after browsing chocolate shops and playing in rivers beside flower-filled meadows.
