A spacious family farmhouse with an additional annexe, just 10 minutes' walk from the heart of Saint Remy in Provence. It sleeps 10. This is the perfect spot for a relaxing family vacation: choose from 3 terraces to enjoy the sunshine, one for meals in front of the house, one for a dip in the jacuzzi, and one for lounging near the swimming pool (4 x 15 m).

Why Kids Love it

Kids will love the garden hammock and day beds around the pool - perfect for a mid-afternoon nap. There's a piano in the study for wannabe musicians, a foosball table and darts board in the garden, and it's a short walk to the village when they're ready to explore. Saint Remy is great for families, with a small playground, carousel, and ice cream parlor. There's also an animal park nearby (L’Arche de Meo, 15 minutes’ drive). Parents with babies can rent additional equipment on request, including a crib, linens or a high chair.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 7 nights. Bookings in July and August run from Saturday to Saturday. Tourist tax to be paid directly to the host on arrival (5.76€ pppn).The property is managed by an agency in France who act as a concierge during your stay: they can advise places to go, local restaurants to try, shopping deliveries, at-home treatments, arrange housekeeping, babysitting, chef services, excursions or equipment rental. Parking is available and car rental is advised to explore the wider area, but not essential as this home is located within walking distance of amenities.

About the Location

The property is 10-15 minutes' from the center of Saint Remy, one of the most beautiful villages in Provence. The village is filled with traditional bakeries, local weekly markets, restaurants and an art gallery. There’s also some historic sites to explore nearby, including the archaeological site of Glanum and the Cloister of St Paul de Mausole. This region has plenty of routes for hiking, climbing, canoeing, cycling and horse riding, so it’s great for families who love the outdoors. The nearest train station is in Avignon and the closest international airport is Marseilles (around 1 hour away by car).

Accommodation Details

The house has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The main living areas are located on the ground floor: a beautiful equipped kitchen with dining area, a living room, a dining room, plus a bedroom with a separate shower room. Upstairs, you will find 3 bedrooms, including a primary suite with bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms on this floor have their own shower room. On this same level, there's a "studio" space with independent access includes a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom and a shower room - ideal for grandparents or teens.

Style Notes

The house feels grand and historic, filled with stunning features such as the huge living room fireplace and exposed stone walls, as well as huge floor-to-ceiling windows allowing light to flood in. We love the traditional stone floors, the roll-top bathtub and the contemporary outdoor furniture.

Payment policy
30% deposit to be paid on booking and the balance is due 6 weeks before arrival. There is a city tax of 4.40€/per adult to be paid in cash upon arrival.
Cancellation policy
A cancellation within a period of more than 90 days will be invoiced for the amount of the deposit paid. Cancellation between 30 and 90 days from the start of the rental will result in the invoicing of 50% of the total amount of the period concerned. Except in cases of force majeure recognized by law, a cancellation reported within less than 30 days will be charged 50% + 1.67% per day elapsed from the 30th day to the date of cancellation.
