This fun family retreat is full of games, toys and activities for kids of all ages, as well as a hot tub and workout space for grown-ups. It sleeps 12 + 1. Parents who want to keep fit will love the workout space, which comes with free weights, a treadmill and yoga mats. It’s fully stocked with kitchen essentials so family meals at home are a breeze, and kids will be kept entertained by all the fun entertainment indoors and out. After busy days of sightseeing or exploring the beach (beach gear and hiking gear are available to borrow too), parents can relax by the firepit or in the hot tub while kids play with the amazing selection of indoor games including basketball hoops, the arcade, PS4, board games, ping-pong table and outdoor games like mini golf, corn-hole, giant jenga and more.

Kids of all ages will enjoy the huge variety of activities, from basketball hoops to video games in the dedicated game room. Younger children can enjoy board games and outdoor movie nights, while older kids and teens will love the PS4 and arcade. The backyard offers plenty of space for fun, with features like the pizza oven, fire pit, outdoor games and movie screen for memorable family evenings. This is a great area for families to visit, with huge attractions like San Diego Zoo and Seaworld just half an hour away, as well as miles of coastline beaches to explore.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 30 days. Safety notes: the home is designed with families in mind. Please supervise children around the fire pit and hot tub. Parents traveling with babies or toddlers can request infant accessories such as a pack-and-play or travel crib, and babysitting services, for an additional fee - just ask when booking. We offer month-to-month stays. Available add-ons include a private chef, yoga practice, and more. No parties, pets, smoking or vaping allowed. Ensure doors and windows are securely locked upon departure. Car parking is available on the premises for 3 vehicles plus free street parking.

About the Location

The area offers easy access to major attractions like Downtown San Diego, Little Italy, and San Diego Zoo, while Legoland California is half an hour north. It’s less than a 5-minute drive to two local playgrounds and access to Black Mountain and Nighthawk trails are just a few streets away for hiking. In the nearby areas, you’ll find parks, libraries, and outdoor recreational areas perfect for family outings. Stunning beaches like Del Mar and Torrey Pines State Beach are just a short drive away, and the airport is less than half an hour’s drive.

Accommodation Details

The house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, set over 2 floors. The main living area offers a cozy sofa area with a 50-inch smart TV, fireplace and book collection for guests to enjoy. The classic record player is in the loft. The kitchen is fully equipped for family meals, with a Keurig machine and a waffle bar for breakfast. Upstairs, the primary suite offers a king-size bed, workspace, 50-inch smart TV, fireplace and spa-inspired bathroom. The other 3 bedrooms all have queen-size beds, as well as smart TVs, workspaces and storage. An additional sofa bed and pullout queen size mattress provide extra sleeping space for additional guests. The game room features a ping pong table, an arcade machine, PS4 and board games, while the backyard boasts a BBQ island, pizza oven, firepit, hot tub, hammock, sun loungers, outdoor seating area, outdoor games and a movie screen.

Casual contemporary. The home blends vibrant hues with modern design elements, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Set over 2,755 sq ft, the hosts have chosen cozy furnishings, elegant lighting and thoughtful touches like the classic record player, creating a homely yet luxurious environment for guests. We love the serene tones of mushroom, peach and gray used for the bedrooms, as well as the wide luxurious fireplace and the colorful landscape artwork.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 15% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 15% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
