A super fun family home with a private pool and backyard playground, just steps from Butler Beach in Florida. It sleeps 8. You won’t need to pack up all your beach gear as the host supplies it all: a beach tent, toys, beach towels, wagon, boogie boards, a surfboard and more. You’ll also find all your cooking essentials here in the kitchen (including a Vitamix blender, Keurig coffee maker, stainless steel cookware, bakeware, grilling utensils, Green Life slow cooker and rice maker) so you can cook your favorite family meals after days out at the beach so it feels like a true home from home where you can relax and spend quality time with the kids.

Why Kids Love it

If they ever tire of the pool and local beach, the house has endless fun for kids. Outside, they’ll find a state-of-the-art playground and outdoor games while inside there are 2 arcade machines, games, toys, magnatiles, coloring books and more. In each living room sits a comfortable sectional sofa and large TV, perfect for movie night or daytime naps after a long day at the beach, and they’ll even have their own TV in the bedroom for early morning cartoons. For parents with babies or toddlers, the house comes with a baby monitor and a highchair. The pool can be heated during colder months and has a child safety sensor too.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 3 nights. Maximum stay: 30 days. Safety notes: the stairs inside leading to the second floor have a baby gate at the top and bottom. The hosts provide all linens, towels and beach towels. All bathrooms are stocked with earth conscious bathroom amenities such as bamboo toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and organic feminine products. The water is filtered by a whole house filtration system with an additional filter for drinking water. Air purifiers are placed both upstairs and down with regularly changed filters. Only non-toxic cleaning products and laundry products are used. Every effort is taken to keep this property clean and safe for a family friendly experience, so there is a very strict no pet policy and it’s safe for those with pet allergies.

About the Location

The house is located on the east side of A1A, just 250ft from Butler Beach, south of St Augustine in Florida. It's a bright, quiet beach neighborhood. It’s a 10-minute drive to St Augustine State Park, a 15-minute drive to Downtown St Augustine, and lots of restaurants, mini golf, and museums in between. Kids may like to visit the St Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum (12 minutes’ drive) or the Pirate & Treasure Museum (20 minutes’ drive). Northeast Florida regional airport is around half an hour away; Jacksonville is around 1 hour away; Orlando is 1.5 hours away.

Accommodation Details

The house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, set over 2 floors. The first floor has a living room, 2 queensize bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a laundry room, and doors to access the pool and summer kitchen. The second floor has an additional living room, full kitchen, 2 kingsize bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and full sliding doors that open up to the balcony. The outdoor space is fully fenced in with an 8 x 12ft heated swimming pool, summer kitchen with ice maker, mini fridge, grill, gas firepit, lounge chairs, outdoor dining area and 2 outdoor showers.

Florida beach house. Updated in 2024, the property has a true coastal vibe with a modern style. Coastal colors of white, gray, sand, and teal are carried throughout making every room light and bright with a comfortable feel. We love the super contemporary outdoor kitchen, the carved wooden wall feature in the bedroom and the subtle addition of natural textures and materials to create a warm, welcoming feel.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 15% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 15% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
